When the darkness gets too loud, the light doesn't whisper – it strikes. The Jewish Punisher wears the black hat and the peyot of the Hasid, but behind them burns the skull of a warrior who refuses to let evil win. In Kabbalah this is the power of Gevurah – the left hand of the Creator, the holy force of judgment and strength that sets limits on the forces of impurity. Gevurah is not hatred; it is love that protects. Like Pinchas who stood in the breach, like the Maccabees who rose against an empire, the Jewish Punisher is the soul that is gentle at home and fearless at the gate.
Wear it on your back, where the enemy can see it, and let them know: the people of the Book also know how to write the ending.
