"Kadosh, Kadosh, Kadosh, Hashem Tzva'ot, melo chol ha'aretz kevodo" – Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord of Hosts, the whole earth is full of His glory (Isaiah 6:3). This is the song of the angels, the words the prophet Isaiah heard in his vision of the heavenly throne, and the words we repeat every day in the Kedusha prayer, rising on our toes like the angels.
The Kabbalists explain that the three times "Kadosh" correspond to three worlds – the heavens, this world, and the world to come – and that holiness fills them all. Three words in Hebrew on a black bucket hat: wear the song of the angels on your head.
