It is easy to think that Babylon is only a problem for the poor. If you have enough money, surely you can escape the concrete and the pressure. But anyone who has spent time with wealthy people knows the truth: they are surviving too.
The sleep of the worker
King Solomon wrote: "Sweet is the sleep of a laboring man, whether he eats little or much, but the abundance of the rich will not let him sleep" (Ecclesiastes 5:12). More money often brings more worry: protecting it, growing it, fearing to lose it.
Who is rich?
The Mishnah asks a simple question: "Who is rich? The one who is happy with his portion" (Pirkei Avot 4:1). By this measure, many millionaires are poor, and many simple people are rich. Babylon sells us the opposite idea: that happiness is always one more purchase away.
Golden cages
The rich can buy the penthouse at the top of the tower. But it is still a tower. Still concrete, still far from the soil, still part of the same system. A golden cage is still a cage.
Survivors in every class
That is why Babylon Survivor speaks to everyone. Rich or poor, nobody is warm enough in Babylon without a little extra layer. The Babylon Survivor denim sherpa jacket is that layer.
